everyone has a different house
Every so often a story just grabs you by the throat and shakes you hard as if to waken you to realising and appreciating just what you DO already have.
As I was working away on my pc yesterday, I heard Chris Evans introduce a fabulous piece that HE had heard on another radio station and HE was so moved, that he chose to play it over again on national radio.
I went off in search of the clip to send to you. It wasn't available as a download or podcast, so I had to be creative in editing this piece for you.
The story is from a woman who had been blind all of her life and then had a sight-recovery operation. One of the most poignant comments she made (that I enjoyed) was when she noticed that everyone had a different house in her street... How cool that YOU don't even think twice about things like that, because YOU COULD SEE these things from a very young age!
