Wherever you are, let's take a moment to celebrate, joining multitudes of hearts world wide by sending out a wave of Light, hugging ourselves, and others, too, with pure Love and Gratitude.
Now, here is one way simple way to celebrate: Open your arms ever so wide. Then lovingly wrap them round your front side and HUG, HUG, HUG yourself.

Well, for one - everyday is a great day to hug yourself! Plus! Today, on the Gregorian calendar, is an 8-8-8 ((08 - 08 - 2006 ( 2+6 = 8)).
Synchronistically, this symbol above, called the Infinity Flower, represents the infinite Past-Present-Future, woven together as a powerful symbol for NOW - as well as being a triple eight. (just like today!) Ian, founder of World Hugathon Day, offers this insight:
"The name that was given (for the above symbol) was "Omniversal Consciousness". I had already been informed that it related to a special date this year. The 8th of August 2006 = 8-8-8.
The first infinity symbol within the image represents the hearts of the divine feminine and the divine masculine within all of us.
The second infinity symbol represents the hearts of Mother Earth and the universal splinters of self, creating Universal Consciousness.
The third infinity symbol represents the hearts of Omniversal Consciousness and our Omniveral splinters of self."

As Gratitude is a Master Key, opening all doors of possibility, let's hug ourselves in Gratitude, embracing wisdom present in our past and future NOW.
As we do, let us cradle each splintered aspect of ourselves, welcoming home all that IS, giving thanks for the experiences gained through the illusion of separation.
By embracing all that IS, we move beyond polarity, judgement, or separation to enjoy Now as ONE.
